Digitalization is a strategic priority for ROCKWOOL. The SAP EWM Senior Consultant ensures stability, performance, and alignment of SAP Variant Configuration and Controlling processes with Group standards during both support and project activities.

Team Members
· The SAP EWM Senior Consultant reports functionally to one Functional Manager (Product Managers or Functional Team Lead) who oversees domain-specific development, skill growth, and cooperates in relation to the performance evaluation.
· The SAP EWM Senior Consultant operationally to the SAP Support sub team – Team Lead, who coordinates day-to-day activities, ensures alignment with SAP teams goals, and facilitates team cohesion.
Key responsibilities and activities include, but is not limited to:
Solution Design & Implementation
•Collaborate with business stakeholders and the Business Process Owner (BPO) to gather and document requirements and identify deviations from the standard template.
Translating business needs into a robust SAP EWM solution, ensuring alignment with the global template and EWM best practices.
•Design and configure the SAP EWM / MFS system to support automated warehouse and AGV integration while enabling efficient and scalable warehouse processes.
Configuration & Integration
•Lead the configuration of SAP EWM and MFS settings.
•Integrate SAP EWM with related SAP modules (PP, MM, LES) and connected services including FIORI apps, terminals, printers, RFID scanners, tablets, and telegram-based communication with WCS and AGVs.
•Support FIORI and ABAP development activities in collaboration with development teams in relation to EWM and MFS interfaces.
Interface & automation
•Design interface architecture and define telegram structures between SAP EWM and
Ensure telegram development and testing are compliant with the global template and support seamless system-to-system communication.
•Work closely with AGV and automation suppliers to validate interface specifications and coordinate integration testing.
Testing & Validation
•SOLMAN tool is the Test tool selected
•Drive end-to-end testing cycles, including unit, integration, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) / smoke tests, ensuring that the complete solution — including interfaces with automation hardware — meets business and technical requirements.
•Participate in process-level discussions to ensure testing scope and scenarios reflect agreed template processes.
Project & Stakeholder Collaboration
•Act as the functional and technical link between warehouse super users, the EWM project team, and integration teams.
•Support integration testing, go-live preparation and go live in complex environments.
•Provide expert guidance on EWM and MFS to ensure quality and consistency across project streams.
Training, Support & Transition
•Deliver targeted training sessions for super users to ensure operational readiness.
•Support post-go-live activities, including issue resolution, stabilization, and hypercare.
•Lead the service transition from project delivery to the EWM support team to ensure continuity.
Continuous Improvement
•Monitor system performance and recommend optimizations to improve warehouse efficiency and system responsiveness.
•Identify and implement improvements aligned with evolving business needs and automation capabilities.
Documentation & Governance
•Ensure comprehensive documentation of all configuration settings, custom developments, interface designs, and process changes.
•Adhere to governance models and change management processes, ensuring compliance with project standards.

•Foster a collaborative, customer-focused, and cross-functional team culture.
