Job Summary

The Senior Consultant specializing in SAP ERP Sales and Distribution will be responsible for providing expert consultation and support in the implementation, customization, and optimization of SAP ERP solutions related to the Sales and Distribution module. The role involves ensuring seamless integration of business processes, enhancing system performance, and driving efficiency within the sales and distribution functions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into sap erp sales and distribution solutions.
2. Design and configure sap sd modules to meet business needs, including pricing, order processing, delivery, and billing.
3. Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and user training to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sap sd solutions.
4. Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and optimization of sap erp sales and distribution systems to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
5. Identify opportunities for system enhancements, upgrades, and process improvements to drive continuous value for the organization.
6. Stay updated on sap erp sales and distribution best practices and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions and strategies.

Skill Requirements

1. Proficiency in sap erp sales and distribution module configuration and customization.
2. Strong knowledge of sales order processing, pricing procedures, delivery processing, and billing in sap sd.
3. Experience in system integration, testing, and end-user training for sap sd solutions.
4. Good understanding of business processes related to sales and distribution functions.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to optimize sap sd systems for performance and efficiency.
6. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to interact effectively with clients and cross functional teams.

• Knowledge of ABAP programming language incl. basic debugging
• Knowledge of EDI/IDOC functionality related to SD Inbound and outbound processes for communication with external busuiness partners
• Process mapping skills and understanding of principles and techniques for process design with inputs, outputs and performance measures would be nice to have
• Very good knowledge of English language is required
• Familiar with SAP SD module, Datastructures, Userexit, BAPI
• Automotive experience, related to message exchange and data processing – Idoc message types and their processing
• SD Scheduling Agreements, Summarized JIT calls, Delivery/Shipment processing, Basic understanding of materials planning for SD requirements in Scheduling Agreements

Understanding Smartforms,Analysing and correcting/enhancing ABAP reports

Other Requirements

1.SAP Certified Application Associate Sales and Distribution, preferred.

• Provide excellent customer service to SAP users, communicating timely and professionally
• Independently prioritize and resolve customer requests, production break-fixes and enhancement requests
• Define, modify, create process templates within SAP SD
• Support the detailed design down to process step level
• Customize the application, create and update necessary documentation
• Setup functional specifications for Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions and Enhancements
• Improve and optimize application together with Business Key Users
