Job Description

ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking an execution-driven SAP delivery leader to build and scale SAP engineering capabilities within our India GCC. This role will stand up a new SAP solution and engineering team in Bangalore, ensuring timely delivery of SAP customizations, ABAP development, O2C/P2P process optimizations, and ongoing modernization of our ERP landscape.

This position operates within a matrixed reporting model—reporting directly into the CDT Leader in India, with an indirect reporting relationship to the Global SAP Leader at HQ and working closely with SAP functional leaders across the enterprise.

Success in this role requires deep SAP domain expertise, proven experience building and managing large delivery teams in India, strong global stakeholder alignment, and disciplined execution of Agile delivery frameworks.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Lead the Team: Hire, onboard, mentor, and performance-manage a high-caliber SAP engineering workforce.
  • Own SAP Delivery: Ensure timely, quality delivery of ECC enhancements, ABAP developments, and functional configurations.
  • Partner with HQ: Coordinate with global SAP, O2C, and P2P process owners to prioritize work and align delivery expectations.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Establish disciplined delivery governance, velocity optimization, and coding quality standards.
  • Plan & Prioritize: Participate in quarterly planning and roadmap discussions with HQ.
  • Enable Collaboration Across Time Zones: Maintain flexible work overlap to support seamless global communication.

YOU ARE

  • A delivery-focused SAP leader with a bias for execution.
  • A builder of teams — capable of scaling mature and junior talent into high-performing delivery units.
  • A strong communicator who thrives in cross-cultural environments and global matrix relationships.
  • A problem-solver who anticipates roadblocks and proactively unblocks delivery.
  • A structured thinker who brings disciplined process, transparency, and accountability.

YOU HAVE

  • 7–12 years of SAP delivery experience, including ECC expertise.
  • Experience with O2C (Order-to-Cash) and P2P (Procure-to-Pay) process flows.
  • Experience managing ABAP development or coordinating ABAP resources.
  • 5+ years of people management experience leading technical delivery teams.
  • Proven ability to manage hiring, onboarding, and performance management at scale.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and JIRA (for backlog management and tracking).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cultures.
  • Preferred: S/4HANA exposure.
  • Preferred: Fashion/Apparel industry experience.
