Job Description

SAP Datasphere & Analytics Cloud Developer (Fixed Term - 6 Months)

Location: Fully Remote (Open to Global Applicants)

Go Beyond for A Safer World

The Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Datasphere & Analytics Cloud Developer to join us on a 6-month fixed term contract, leading the design, implementation, and delivery of both functional and technical components of Tait's planning and reporting strategy.

This is a fully remote role open to candidates globally. You will collaborate with stakeholders across multiple time zones to deliver scalable, high-impact analytics solutions.

The role will focus on SAP Datasphere (DS) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), integrated with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, initially supporting Finance and Sales, with the objective of scaling solutions across the broader business.

You will play a critical role in shaping how data is modelled, governed, visualized, and leveraged to provide real-time business insights that support strategic decision-making and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, redesign and expand existing Datasphere spaces, layers and semantic models to support robust financial and operational reporting.
  • Lead the implementation of SAC for financial planning, sales and order forecasting, forecast adjustments, and integration of forecasts with upstream processes, reports, and dashboards
  • Build and enhance management reports and dashboards in DS and SAC to provide real-time insights and support key business KPIs.
  • Partner with key business stakeholders globally to understand requirements and enable continuous end-to-end enhancement - from solution design and configuration through to testing, migration and ongoing support.
  • Establish and maintain best practice standards across modelling, visualization, security and data governance to enable controlled self-service analytics.
  • Ensure capability uplift and adoption across Tait teams, including training the FP&A team to administrator level.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification and/or significant experience in SAP analytics and business intelligence.

You will also have:

  • 5+ years' experience in SAP Analytics and BI, including at least 2 years working with SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Certifications in SAC, DS or BW (S/4HANA certifications preferred).
  • Proven experience delivering SAP Planning and Reporting solutions across multiple industries (experience in manufacturing environments highly advantageous).
  • Strong expertise in SAP Cloud integrations including SAC, DS, BW, S/4HANA (cloud and on-prem) and third-party systems.
  • Solid working knowledge of SQL and scripting languages, with CDS development experience highly desirable.
  • Experience leveraging predictive features in SAC and understanding SAP's ML/AI roadmap.
  • The ability to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing analytics solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the confidence to lead solution discussions across Finance, Sales and operational teams in a remote, global environment.
  • The ability to work autonomously while remaining highly collaborative within distributed teams

You will be analytical, forward-thinking, and passionate about enabling data-driven decision making. Most importantly, you will embody our values: Commitment to Listen, Courage to Act and Integrity to Deliver.

What's in it for you?

We are committed to making a difference for families and communities while supporting our people to build rewarding careers. We achieve this by employing people who connect with our Values and by investing in both individuals and teams to support a high-performance culture.

  • Fully remote working arrangements
  • Competitive remuneration aligned to your market location.
  • The opportunity to deliver high-impact analytics transformation within a global organization
  • Opportunities to collaborate with a global team, delivering solutions that make a real difference.
