We are looking for a SAP Core Project Managerto lead SAP initiatives across Latin America, managing projects end to end from scope definition through solution release, while ensuring operational efficiency throughout the system lifecycle. This role works closely with SAP Technical Leaders and Solution Architects, acting as a key facilitator between business and IT, and driving high-quality delivery in complex, cross-functional and global environments.
Role & Responsibilities:
Partner with SAP Technical Leaders and Solution Architectsto define project strategy, prioritization, effort estimations, and technical resource selection.
Establish clear project scope, proposals, plans, and estimates, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Act as a facilitatorto resolve conflicts between local and global IT teams, as well as between IT and business stakeholders.
Manage SAP projects end to end, including:
Project planning, timelines, roles, and resource allocation
Leading cross-functional teams with IT and business partners
Tracking progress, managing risks and issues, and ensuring milestone and deliverable completion
Providing regular status updates to management and stakeholders
Develop and present project recommendationsto leadership, including IT strategy changes, technology choices, total cost of ownership, and business impact.
Lead project implementation, coordinating local business and IT teams, and ensuring readiness across processes, training, governance, and organizational setup.
Direct and coordinate the work of internal teams and external consultants to build high-performing project teams.
Manage budgets, schedules, and performance standards, ensuring accountability against objectives.
Share project management best practices and mentor junior project managers
Ensure compliance with Quality Systems, IT governance, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
Essential Qualifications:
Hands-on experience managing SAP projectsin regional and/or global environments.
Strong understanding of SAP-supported business processes, including:
Order-to-Cash
Quote-to-Cash
Procure-to-Pay
Proven experience managing cross-functional and multicultural teams
Experience implementing or supporting agile methodologies(e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP).
Strong project management skills, including planning, risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.
Fluency in Spanish, English, and Portuguese(spoken and written).
Strong communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
High accountability, proactive mindset, and structured problem-solving approach.
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience leading external consulting teams
PMI certification and/or MSc in Project Management.
Experience working in regulated or quality-driven environments
Exposure to global IT governance models.
The position must be based in Brazil
The role is remote, with availability for on-site work if required
The engagement model for this position is legal entity (PJ)
