Job Title: SAP Commerce Cloud Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Commerce Cloud developer, with a minimum of 4 to 6 years of IT experience, to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the ecommerce space as a developer / senior developer and will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining robust solutions on the SAP Commerce Cloud platform (Hybris on cloud CCV2). This role requires expertise in Java, Spring framework, B2B commerce, headless storefronts (Spartacus / SAP Composable storefront) and a strong understanding of SAP Commerce Cloud core platform. Key Responsibilities:

1. SAP Commerce Development: Contribute to the development of scalable and maintainable solutions on the SAP Commerce Cloud platform.

2. B2B Commerce Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of SAP commerce cloud’s B2B commerce processes and implement solutions tailored to business requirements.

3. WCMS Development (OCC): Design and develop backend WCMS components that are required for the storefronts to provide seamless and engaging customer experiences across various channels. Good hands-on experience developing and exposing components via OCC APIs is a must. Prior experience / understanding with Spartacus / SAP Composable or any other Angular based storefront is highly desirable (not mandatory).

4. Integration expertise: Implement integrations with other internal SAP / Non-SAP systems, third-party systems, ensuring data flow and business processes are streamlined. Backend development experience with Integration APIs, Webservices, Cloud Hot folders (Azure blob store) is a must. Implementation experience with SAP CPI is highly desirable.

5. Cloud portal usage: Get hands-on with Cloud portal way of deployment, backups, logs (Kibana).

6. Code Branching and Merging: Demonstrate proficiency in code branching and merging, ensuring a collaborative, and streamlined development process.

7. Code Review and Quality Assurance Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and maintainable solutions. Implement and enforce quality assurance processes.

8. Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation of the solutions developed.

9. SAP Commerce Cloud (core platform): Familiar with SAP Commerce Cloud platform architecture and its underlying OOTB core and platform capabilities. Hands-on experience with custom extensions, search customization and optimization (Solr), SEO, catalog management and integration touchpoints.

10. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including other Architects, Solution leads, business analysts, project managers, and other developers, to deliver integrated and effective solutions.

Qualifications:
1. Minimum 4 to 6 years of IT experience, primarily focused on web application development (on Java & Angular stack).

2. Minimum 4 years of hands-on coding experience in SAP Commerce Cloud / Hybris development.

3. Working experience in headless storefronts, and integration touchpoints.
4. Familiar with cloud portal activities (deployment, backups, and logs).
5. Proficient in code branching, merging, and code review processes.
6. Strong understanding of SAP Commerce Cloud platform architecture and its OOTB capabilities.
7. Prior experience with agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills:
1. Knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud Backoffice customization.

2. Functional knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud platform and Backoffice customizations.
3. Familiarity with ecommerce touchpoints like SAP C4C quote / service ticket processes, SAP ERP etc.

4. Exposure to Spartacus / SAP Composable storefront upgrades.

5. Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud upgrades, Integration extension pack (IEP) upgrades and migrations.

6. Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular).
