Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP BW Developer to work with our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Business Warehouse solutions that support enterprise reporting, analytics, and data integration needs. The role focuses on building efficient data models, ETL processes, and analytical layers within SAP BW, with added value for candidates experienced in SAP SAC and/or SAP BDC.

Compensation & Benefits

• Gross Annual Salary: EGP 650,000–950,000
• Annual Performance Bonus: 10%

• Work Model: Hybrid (Cairo-based only) – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote

YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• SAP BW Design & Development
  • Design, build, and optimize SAP BW data models (InfoProviders, ADSOs, InfoObjects, CompositeProviders).
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes using SAP BW tools (DataSources, Transformations, DTPs, Process Chains).
  • Ensure high performance, scalability, and data quality across BW solutions.
  • Implement enhancements to existing BW models based on evolving business requirements.
• Data Integration & Reporting
  • Collaborate with functional teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into BW solutions.
  • Support integration with SAP ERP/ECC/S4 systems and other non SAP sources.
  • Enable reporting outcomes for downstream tools (BOBJ, SAC, Excel, etc.).
• System Support & Optimization
  • Monitor data loads, troubleshoot failures, and ensure system stability.
  • Optimize queries, transformations, and data flows for performance improvements.
  • Participate in BW upgrades, migrations, and system enhancements.

• SAP BDC (Plus Point)
  • Migrate current SAP BW data model, into new more modern SAP Business data cloud setup
  • Work with functional users to validate data mapping and import flows.
• SAP SAC (Strong Advantage)
  • Build and maintain stories, dashboards, and planning models in SAP Analytics Cloud.
  • Integrate SAC with BW models for live and import connections.
  • Support end user analytics and visualization needs.
  • Migrate existing SAP BW reports into SAC

ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?

3+ years of professional experience in complex IT landscape

• Strong expertise in SAP BW tools and technologies, including:
  • SAP BW ODS Objects
  • SAP BW Data Marts
  • BEx Query Analyzer & Designer.
• Knowledge of SAP BI/BW/HANA and other SAP modules (SAP ECC, SAP CRM, etc.)
• Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence methodologies
• Hands-on experience in SAP BW data modeling, ETL processes, and performance tuning
• Proven experience in building end-to-end solutions, from requirement gathering to deployment.
• Familiarity with reusable components, workflows, and libraries.
• Strong expertise in automation, monitoring, and performance tuning
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure during incident resolution
• Fluency in English (written and verbal)
• Exposure to SAP SAC or SAP Data Sphere or SAP BDC is highly desirable.
