SAP BW / BI Developer – SAP BW/4HANA

We are looking for an experienced SAP BW / BI Developer with strong expertise in SAP BW/4HANA, BW on HANA, ABAP, BusinessObjects WebI, and Analysis for Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing end-to-end data flows, supporting production environments, monitoring BW processes, and translating business requirements into robust BW/BI solutions.

Must-Have Skills

• 
  6–8 years of relevant SAP BW/BI development experience.
• 
  Strong knowledge of SAP BW / BW Workbench
• 
  Strong understanding of LSA (Layered Scalable Architecture)
• 
  Hands-on experience with process chains and BW monitoring
• 
  Experience working with multiple SAP modules and data sources, with SAP Finance (FI/CO) mandatory
• 
  Strong ABAP knowledge, including:
  • 
    Start routines
  • 
    End routines
  • 
    Field routines
  • 
    InfoSources
  • 
    Data flows
  • 
    Enhancing SAP source-system data sources
  • 
    Debugging in SAP source systems
• 
  Good understanding of Analysis Process Designer (APD) in BW.

  Strong SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence (WebI) skills, including creating reports from scratch and using available reporting functions.
• Expert-level Analysis for Office (AfO) knowledge.
• 
  Ability to translate customer/business requirements into appropriate BW/BusinessObjects data flows while following established architecture and development standards.
• 
  Proven end-to-end project experience, from development through deployment, production monitoring, and support.
• 
  Strong understanding of SAP BW on HANA / SAP BW/4HANA

Nice-to-Have Skills

• 
  SAP BW authorisations knowledge.
• 
  Understanding of BusinessObjects CMC and its core building blocks.
• 
  Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Azure fundamentals knowledge; AZ-900 certification is advantageous/expected.
• 
  Knowledge of Azure Data Factory
• 
  Experience identifying and resolving BW process bottlenecks and performance issues

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Design, develop, and maintain SAP BW/4HANA and BW on HANA data flows.
• 
  Develop and enhance BW objects, transformations, routines, and data sources.
• 
  Work with SAP Finance and other SAP module data sources.
• 
  Develop and maintain BusinessObjects WebI reports.
• 
  Support Analysis for Office users and solutions.
• 
  Monitor and troubleshoot process chains and production BW processes.
• 
  Debug and resolve data flow and processing issues.
• 
  Analyse and resolve performance bottlenecks within BW processes.
• 
  Translate business/customer requirements into scalable BW/BI solutions.
• 
  Support the complete development lifecycle from requirements and development through deployment and production monitoring.
• 
  Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams in an Agile environment.
