We are looking for an experienced SAP Business Analyst with strong Cash Management & Treasury expertise to join our team and support one of our largest clients in the energy sector. You will be embedded with the customer's Treasury, Finance, and IT teams, owning the journey of treasury and liquidity-related change from initial demand all the way through to implementation and adoption in their SAP S/4HANA environment.
This is a role for someone who enjoys sitting at the intersection of business and IT — translating treasury and cash management needs into clear requirements, shaping solutions with SAP consultants, and making sure what gets delivered actually solves the problem.
• Engage directly with business stakeholders in Treasury and Finance to elicit, challenge, and document requirements.
• Author Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and — where the delivery approach calls for it — user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze existing cash management, liquidity, and treasury processes and identify opportunities for improvement, simplification, or automation.
• Maintain end-to-end visibility across the demand-to-implementation lifecycle: from initial business demand, through solution design and build, to testing, go-live, and post-deployment support.
• Partner with SAP functional consultants and technical teams to ensure solutions are designed and configured correctly within SAP S/4HANA.
• Coordinate and support UAT, validation, and quality assurance activities.
• Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective adoption of SAP treasury and cash management solutions.
• Operate primarily in an Agile / Scrum setting where applicable, while remaining comfortable with hybrid or waterfall delivery models when projects require it.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Finance, Treasury, Information Technology, or related).
• 5+ years of proven experience as a SAP Business Analyst or SAP Functional Consultant, with a clear focus on Cash Management and Treasury.
• Solid working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Cash Management and Treasury & Risk Management, including areas such as bank account management, liquidity planning, payment processing, and financial instruments.
• Demonstrated experience authoring BRDs, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Strong understanding of corporate treasury, cash management, and liquidity business processes end-to-end.
• Experience working across the full project lifecycle — requirements, design, build coordination, testing, go-live, hypercare.
• Excellent command of both Greek and English, written and spoken.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exposure to the energy sector or other regulated industries.
• Experience with S/4HANA migration or transformation programs.
• Knowledge of bank connectivity standards (SWIFT, EBICS, host-to-host) and payment formats (ISO 20022 / XML).
• Understanding of integrations between Treasury / Cash Management and adjacent SAP modules (FICO, MM) or third-party systems.
