Your role

At Serrala, we are strengthening the way our core HR and Finance platforms connect across our enterprise landscape.

As our SAP BTP Integration Engineer, you will take end-to-end technical ownership of the integration landscape around SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Concur, connecting these platforms with SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP systems such as identity management, payroll, banking, and benefits providers.

This is not a traditional SuccessFactors administration role. It is a hands-on integration engineering position with real ownership: designing and improving integrations, ensuring data quality and reliability, establishing effective monitoring, and working closely with HR, Finance, platform teams, architects, and external SAP partners.

What you’ll do

• Own and evolve our SAP integration landscape around SuccessFactors and Concur using SAP BTP / SAP Integration Suite and MuleSoft.
• Design, build, and maintain integrations between SuccessFactors, Concur, SAP S/4HANA, and non-SAP platforms.
• Establish robust monitoring, alerting, error handling, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable end-to-end data flows.
• Own data mapping, reconciliation, and data-quality standards across connected systems.
• Support and configure key SuccessFactors modules, including Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, and Compensation, with a particular focus on integration and data quality.
• Manage the technical impact of SAP SuccessFactors releases, from impact assessment and testing through deployment.
• Take technical ownership of SuccessFactors and Concur integrations within HR- and Finance-led transformation initiatives.
• Work closely with our Integration Platform, Data Platform, Identity, HR, and Finance teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Guide external SAP SuccessFactors and Concur AMS partners, challenge proposed solutions, and drive technical escalations and delivery priorities.
• Ensure integrations meet GDPR and EU data-residency requirements for sensitive HR data.
• Maintain clear integration architecture documentation, interface inventories, operational runbooks, and knowledge documentation.

What you bring

You don’t need to tick every box. What matters most is strong integration expertise, technical curiosity, and the ability to take ownership across systems and teams.

Ideally, you have:

• 4+ years of experience with SAP BTP / SAP Integration Suite or comparable enterprise middleware such as MuleSoft or Dell Boomi.
• Strong hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, ideally Employee Central plus at least one additional module.
• Experience with SAP Concur is a strong advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across complex, multi-system integration environments.
• Experience with APIs, data mapping, integration monitoring, error handling, and data-quality management.
• Experience working directly with HR and/or Finance stakeholders and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Confidence working with and technically guiding external implementation or AMS partners.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery, Jira Software, and Jira Service Management.
• A good understanding of GDPR and data-protection requirements for HR and employee data.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, or a comparable field is welcome, but practical expertise is equally important.
