We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and highly skilled SAP Basis Specialist to join our team. This role will serve as a technical consultant in driving technical excellence across our SAP landscapes.
You should have expertise in SAP Basis administration, SAP Solution Manager and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
You will play a critical role in managing SAP environments, leading S/4HANA upgrades, and integrating advanced monitoring, AI, and security solutions.

Responsibilities

  • SAP BTP Platform Management : Own and support SAP BTP applications, including CPI, ALM setup, ServiceNow integration, and SAP Cloud Connector for secure hybrid connectivity.
  • SAP S/4HANA Landscape Operations: Own the daily operation and technical lifecycle of the SAP S/4HANA landscape, including performance optimization, upgrades, and core system administration activities.
  • Security and Authentication: Lead SAP security and compliance processes, ensuring secure access, controlled system changes, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Advanced Monitoring Integrate advanced monitoring tools and external incident systems such as ServiceNow.
  • S/4HANA Innovations & Cross-System Integrations: Improve S/4HANA architecture, enable third-party integrations, and coordinate with infrastructure teams on system optimization and cloud initiatives.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Lead SAP transport management, system upgrades, and cross-team initiatives, while mentoring team members and maintaining technical best practices.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 10+ years of SAP Basis administration experience, including S/4HANA.
  • Proven expertise in SAP S4/HANA, SAP ABAP, SAP Fiori and SAP BTP services (Cloud Platform Integration, ALM connections).
  • Strong knowledge of SAP HANA performance tuning and SAP application-layer troubleshooting (STAD, ST01, disp+work traces, HANA traces, etc.).
  • Experience with Python scripting for automation or microservice development. Familiarity with ABAP for debugging and custom solutions.
  • Security knowledge: SAML 2.0, Kerberos, SAP SSO, SAP security notes/parameters.
  • Experience integrating SAP with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools.
  • Python, ABAP, and AI (a big advantage to have)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, enabling cross-functional collaboration with Infrastructure, Development, and Business teams.
