Job Description


As a SAP Basis SME Architect, you will:

  • Act as a SAP Basis Subject Matter Expert and Architect, supporting complex SAP landscapes across ECC and S/4HANA environments.

  • Lead and deliver Lifecycle Management (LCM) activities including installations, upgrades, migrations, and maintenance of SAP systems.

  • Ensure high availability, performance, and stability of production SAP landscapes.

  • Drive ECC to HANA database migrations, including planning, execution, and post-migration validation.

  • Design, configure, and support SAP HANA Database, SLT replication, and SAP NetWeaver Gateway setups.

  • Perform kernel upgrades, release upgrades, and system patching across SAP environments.

  • Support and execute cloud migration initiatives for SAP systems.

  • Work closely with business and technical stakeholders during Program Increment (PI) planning to define and prioritize the product backlog.

  • Provide go-live support, post-implementation stabilization, and knowledge transition to operations teams.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent architecture implementation, aligned interfaces, and synchronized delivery timelines.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 8–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration and architecture.

  • Strong expertise in SAP Basis and S/4HANA environments.

  • Proven experience in ECC to SAP HANA DB migrations.

  • Solid exposure to cloud-based SAP migrations.

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP HANA Database, SLT, and NetWeaver Gateway configuration.

  • Experience with SAP kernel upgrades, system upgrades, and release management.

  • Working knowledge of SAP modules and platforms including R/3, HANA, BW, and EWM.

  • Hands-on experience with RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) migration.

You should possess the ability to:

  • Take end-to-end ownership of SAP Basis activities and deliverables.

  • Work in Agile / sprint-based delivery models, contributing to backlog refinement and incremental delivery.

  • Perform high-level and detailed project planning for SAP Basis activities.

  • Manage change management, documentation, and knowledge transfer effectively.

  • Proactively identify issues, propose technical improvements, and implement solutions.

  • Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and reliability.
