The SAP Basis Administrator for S/4HANA on RISE is responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting SAP systems hosted within the RISE with SAP environment. This role focuses on technical administration, environment stability, performance tuning, and coordination with SAP and hyperscaler teams. The ideal candidate has hands on experience with S/4HANA, HANA database administration, and cloud based SAP operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Administer SAP S/4HANA systems running on RISE with SAP
• Coordinate with SAP RISE operations for upgrades, patches, and incidents
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity
• Manage transports, system refreshes, and change control
• Perform SAP HANA database administration and tuning
• Review SAP OSS notes and security patches
• Troubleshoot across application, database, OS, and network layers
• Support SAP BTP and third-party integrations
• Maintain SAP Cloud ALM or Solution Manager
• Create technical documentation and runbooks
• Provide on-call and production support

QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERRED SKILLS:

Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years SAP Basis administration experience
• Hands-on S/4HANA and HANA database experience
• Experience with RISE or cloud-hosted SAP
• Knowledge of CTS+, ChaRM, and transport management
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• SAP Basis or HANA certification
• SUM/DMO and S/4HANA migration experience
• Automation and scripting familiarity
• SAP BTP and integration exposure
Work Environment:
Candidates located in Richmond, VA or Waltham, MA are expected to work onsite Monday-Friday. For candidates outside of these locations, a remote work option will be available.
