Essential Qualifications:

· SAP Performance Optimization: Maintain optimal SAP performance by planning and executing effective tuning strategies.

· Infrastructure Coordination: Collaborate with the Infrastructure team to plan and execute system upgrades and patching.

· System Upgrades: Participate in the planning and implementing SAP system upgrades to ensure seamless integration and performance.

· Issue Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve various SAP performance and configuration issues promptly and efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

· SAP Instance Management: Implement and maintain multiple SAP instances (development, test, training, production).

· System Monitoring: Proactively monitor SAP systems (work processes, users, logs, dumps, locks, traces, disk space).

· Client Administration: Perform SAP client administration tasks (create, copy, delete, export/import).

· System Refreshes: Periodically refresh non-Production systems with Production data.

· Maintenance and Upgrades: Apply and migrate SAP maintenance (hot packages, kernel upgrades) using structured methodologies.

· Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation for all SAP instances and interfaces.

· Technical Changes: Introduce technical changes using structured approaches to ensure high reliability, availability, and performance.

· Workload Management: Distribute and manage online SAP user and background job workloads.

· Change Management: Deploy business changes and fixes monthly using Solution Manager Change Request Management.

· Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with internal stakeholders, teams, and vendors to support SAP landscapes.

· Disaster Recovery: Support annual disaster recovery testing.

Skill and Experience:

Essential Skills

· Experience with SAP implementations.

· Strong experience in SAP upgrades, kernel patching, and add-on installations.

· Knowledge of cloud-based SAP deployments, particularly in AWS.

· In-depth understanding of HA/DR technologies, including designing and implementing geographically dispersed HA/DR solutions.

· Strong analytical skills, with the ability to perform complex systems analysis, root-cause analysis, and issue resolution.

Preferred Skills

· 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration across various SAP modules like S4 Hana, ERP, PI/PO, BI, BW, and Solution Manager.

· Extensive knowledge of SAP Basis components.

· Experience supporting finance systems such as FICA, FICO, BPC.

· Expertise in configuring and working with Solution Manager 7.2 features (ChaRM, Solution Documentation, Technical Monitoring).

· Proficient in SAP system copies and refreshes.

· Knowledgeable in configuring and managing archiving setups.

· Experience supporting various connector and cloud integrations with third-party systems like Concur.

· Hana, Sybase Database administration knowledge.

· Experience deploying Single Sign-On for SAP components and integrating with third-party authentication services based on SAML2.

· Technical and configuration experience with Business Objects, Fiori, etc.

· Proficient in integration technologies like AIF and SAP Process Orchestration, as well as connectivity protocols for sFTP, web services, etc.

· Highly self-motivated, driven by a strong work ethic, with keen attention to detail and exceptional customer orientation.

· Strong stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· SAP certification in Basis administration is desirable.

· Resourceful with a strong desire to research and solve problems.

· Driven by an insatiable thirst for success and motivation to achieve goals.
