About Our Client

Our client is a publicly listed Thai engineering technology company with operations in Thailand and international markets. The business is preparing for a major SAP Business One transformation and is looking for an experienced SAP B1 leader to take ownership of it.

You will assess the current environment, understand how the business operates, and define what the future solution should look like. From there, you will lead the implementation, guide the functional and technical team, and remain responsible for the platform beyond go-live.

This is a role for someone who wants genuine ownership, not another assignment where every important decision has already been made.

What You Will Lead

• Assess the current SAP B1 environment, business processes, integrations, and areas requiring improvement.
• Lead workshops with Finance, Purchasing, Sales, Inventory, and other operational teams.
• Define the future-state SAP B1 solution and phased implementation roadmap.
• Decide where standard SAP B1, process redesign, integrations, or additional applications provide the right answer.
• Guide the connection between SAP B1 and a new C#-based unified business application.
• Lead functional consultants, developers, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Oversee data migration, testing, UAT, cutover, go-live, and stabilization.
• Establish practical governance, documentation, and support standards.
• Help build a sustainable internal SAP B1 team and long-term applications roadmap.

You will not be expected to write every line of code or configure every module yourself. You will need enough functional and technical depth to ask the right questions, challenge weak solutions, and take responsibility for the final direction.

What We Are Looking For

You should bring:

• Substantial, recent SAP Business One experience.
• Experience across multiple full-cycle SAP B1 implementations.
• Leadership responsibility for at least one complex implementation, reimplementation, or transformation.
• Strong functional understanding across Finance, Purchasing, Inventory, Sales and Reporting.
• Experience leading requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design.
• Working knowledge of SAP B1 integrations, APIs, Service Layer, data migration, and related technical concepts.
• Experience directing consultants, developers, or implementation partners.
• Strong stakeholder-management and English communication skills.
• Willingness to spend regular time on-site in Ban Chang during discovery and implementation.

Experience with SAP B1 on HANA, industrial or project-based businesses, multi-company environments, audit-sensitive organizations, or C# integrations would be valuable.

Working Arrangement

The position will involve regular on-site work in Ban Chang, Rayong, particularly during the early assessment and implementation stages. Engagement with stakeholders in Bangkok and selected remote working will depend on the project phase.
