As our new SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) BI Developer, you will be part of a cross functional, international team located in Kraków, collaborating closely with colleagues in Randers, Denmark. You will contribute to establishing a robust, high quality reporting layer and semantic foundation that empowers innovation and operational excellence across Danish Crown’s business.

Your role
You will play a central role in designing, developing, and governing our SAC reporting products. Working primarily in SAP Analytics Cloud, while aligning with SAP BW and our broader enterprise reporting strategy, you will deliver reusable models, standardized KPIs, and reliable reporting content.
You will help drive adoption of best practices, and ensure that our reporting solutions are trusted, performant, and future ready.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and deliver SAC reporting solutions: Build SAC models, calculations, measures, and visual stories/applications using best practice modeling techniques and SAP governance guidelines.
  • Own and maintain governed semantic models: Develop and document reusable SAC models and KPI definitions that can be leveraged across domains.
  • Standardize KPI definitions across platforms: Align logic and definitions between SAC, SAP BW, and Power BI to ensure a single source of truth.
  • Ensure performance and reliability: Optimize model performance, story responsiveness, scheduling, and connectivity while contributing to monitoring and incident handling.
  • Support managed self service: Provide templates, design guidelines, quality gates, and certified content to scale SAC safely and efficiently.
  • Contribute to governance and lifecycle management: Follow and improve our front end governance framework, incl. authorizations, documentation, and ALM/transport routines.
  • Partner with cross functional stakeholders: Collaborate with Technical Product Owners, Domain Architects, Master Data Governance, and business teams to shape requirements and ensure adoption.
  • Bridge existing solutions with future developments: Help transition legacy reporting into SAP.
  • Upgrade and patch activities: Managing SAC upgrade/patch activities

Requirements and expectations

  • Hands on experience delivering SAC solutions (models, stories, calculations, authorizations, BW/S4 connectivity).
  • Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and semantic layer design.
  • Experience with KPI governance, naming conventions, versioning, documentation, and lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with the SAP ecosystem (SAP BW, S/4HANA, Datasphere; SAP BTP is a plus).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in an international, cross functional setup.
  • Experience with SAC subset of JavaScript and scripting.
  • Approximately 10-20 travel days per year to be expected.
  • On-site presence is expected for a minimum of 3 days a week in our Krakow office.

What we offer
You will join a truly international analytics organization where collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement drive everything we do.
