The Adler Pelzer Group is one of the leading providers of acoustic and thermal insulation parts for the automotive industry. We supply every single car brand in the world and have around 100 manufacturing and engineering locations and 15 000 people world-wide.

We are looking for an experienced, committed  SAP ABAP Senior Specialist in Europe, preferably located in Italy or Spain This new colleague will be a member of our corporate team, remotely servicing our plants and offices across Europe and globally.

Main tasks:

• SAP ABAP (all RICEF developments and labels) responsibility in current program in our Italian factories

• Developments in the ABAP module, creating new functionalities and reports

• Support to the existing developments

• Support to issues in the SAP Logistics modules, as functional knowledge in either PP, PM or SD is a very nice to have for the position

• SAP ABAP projects management for this module of expertise, as part of rollouts within all company plants and implementation of new functionalities

• Analysis and further development of the SAP ABAP processes

• Development, implementation, and integration tests in the SAP environment

• Direct contact with internal customers or partners regarding SAP ABAP topics and implementations

• Key user training and support

• 2nd and 3rd level support of employees across our global sites, and incident management

Your Profile:

• Well-founded experience as Senior SAP ABAP Specialist

• Senior knowledge of the SAP ABAP development of Smartforms, Adobeforms, SAPscripts, and creation of formats in general. Specifically, it is very important to have extensive experience with the customizing and development of labels

• Development knowledge in Mobisys scanners would be convenient

• Technical knowledge regarding connection with printers and scanners is a very nice to have

• Functional knowledge of any functional module such as FI-CO, PP, MM, or SD, would be a very important value added for the candidate

• Experience in the automotive supply industry is convenient

• Fluent in English is a must. Native/Fluent Italian or Native/Fluent Spanish would be a nice to have

• Ability to manage project business parallel to day-to-day business

• A high degree of personal responsibility

• Flexibility for international travel; occasional or ad-hoc project-related travel
