We are seeking an experienced ABAP Developer to join the DTPS Factories Platform team. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize SAP ABAP-based solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and business requirements. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, efficient, and reliable SAP applications within a complex multinational environment.

The Ideal Candidate

  • University Degree in IT or related field

  • 3+ years of IT experience in developing customer systems

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience writing, debugging, and optimizing ABAP code

  • Strong knowledge of forms (Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, SAP Script)

  • Very good knowledge of ABAP Workbench tools, workflows, and OO-ABAP

  • Good understanding of SAP functional modules (SD/MM/HR/FI/CO)

  • Knowledge of SAP Change and Release Management (ChaRM) – plus

  • Knowledge of ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) – plus

  • Experience with Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum)

  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or ServiceNow (SNOW) – plus

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Experience in multinational IT environments

  • Excellent spoken and written English

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

What You Will Do

Technical Development

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain custom SAP applications using ABAP (RICEF: reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms)

  • Deliver clean, efficient, and well-documented code aligned with SAP best practices

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and implement integrated SAP solutions

Problem Solving & Support

  • Analyze and resolve SAP technical issues

Documentation & Testing

  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, architects, and project managers

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay current with SAP technologies, including S/4HANA, ABAP on HANA, and SAP Fiori

  • Proactively improve performance, scalability, and user experience


What the Company Offers (Bulgaria)

Compensation

Middle ABAP Developer

  • 72,500 BGN gross per year (12 salaries per year)

  • Annual bonus: 8%

Senior ABAP Developer

  • 91,000 BGN gross per year (12 salaries per year)

  • Annual bonus: 15%

  • Christmas bonus: 100 BGN

  • Easter bonus: 200 BGN

Work Model

  • If Sofia-based: 2 days per week remote, 3 days onsite

  • If based outside Sofia: 100% remote (proof of residency required)
