As a SAP ABAP Developer, you will join the Global Commercial Service Workplace Team within KION Group IT. The team is responsible for the development and operation of SAP based service applications supporting our global service organizations.

In this role, you will design, develop, and enhance SAP frontend and backend solutions, making a direct impact on the quality and reliability of IT services delivered across the KION Group. Furthermore, you will help shaping and expanding our IT Service Hub in Kraków, contributing both your technical expertise and your ideas to a growing, international environment.

Tasks and Qualifications:

  • Design, enhance, and optimize existing as well as new applications in our SAP S/4HANA on premise environment using modern technologies such as ABAP, RAP, and SAP Fiori

  • Apply agile development methods and modern SAP technologies across the full lifecycle — from concept and design to implementation and deployment — for cross functional SAP applications used internally and externally

  • Act as an internal ambassador for innovative SAP technologies, promoting the adoption and best use of S/4HANA in close collaboration with stakeholders

  • Define and continuously improve development standards for custom SAP solutions across the KION Group, working closely with other internal IT and development teams

  • Provide end to end application support, ensuring stability, performance, and continuous enhancement throughout the entire application lifecycle

Technology Stack you will work with:

  • ABAP

  • ABAP OO

  • RAP

  • FIORI

  • OData (REST)

  • CDS views

Your Skills and Expertise:

  • 3+ years of experience in ABAP / ABAP OO development, with hands on exposure to SAP Fiori, OData (REST), and CDS Views considered a strong advantage

  • Initial experience with SAP CS and/or SAP SM is preferred

  • Strong enthusiasm for software development, innovation, and modern SAP technologies

  • Motivation to continuously develop your skills through hands on work as well as participation in professional SAP training and certification programs

  • A collaborative team player who actively contributes to a developer community and values knowledge sharing

  • Fluent English (written and spoken); German skills are a plus
