Seeking Experienced SAP ABAP Developers for Long-Term Remote Projects in Mexico (Guadalajara Preferred)
We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with 3–5 years of experience to join a dynamic team working on long-term SAP projects. This role involves collaborating closely with functional teams to design, develop, and optimize SAP solutions, with a strong focus on quality, performance, and modern SAP development best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enhance SAP ABAP solutions in SAP S/4HANA and SAP ECC environments.
Collaborate with SAP Functional and implementation teams to identify development requirements.
Create and maintain technical and functional specification documentation.
Develop reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, workflows, and integrations using agile best practices.
Perform testing, documentation, and support during integration, UAT, go-live, hypercare, and post-implementation phases.
Troubleshoot issues, bugs, and performance problems, ensuring timely resolution.
Redesign and improve existing interfaces when required.
Ensure compliance with Clean Core principles and resolve ATC checks.
Technical Skills Required:
With 3–5 years of experience as a SAP ABAP Developer, you must be proficient in the following technical skills:
SAP ABAP development in SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC
Strong knowledge of ABAP Objects (OOP concepts)
Experience with ABAP for Cloud and Clean Core remediation
Performance optimization and advanced debugging skills
IDoc creation, configuration, and troubleshooting
Development and consumption of OData Services and CDS Views
SOAP Web Services using SOAMANAGER
AIF configuration and troubleshooting
Transport management using ChaRM process
Technical specification creation and updates
At least one full SAP implementation lifecycle experience
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
Bilingual English / Spanish
Fluent English (Advanced) C1 – C2
Strong communication skills, empathy, leadership, commitment, and teamwork mindset
Proactive and solution-oriented attitude
Willingness to travel up to 80% when required
Location & Schedule:
Remote position within Mexico (Preferred location: Guadalajara, Jalisco)
Work hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 – 18:00
