SAP Experienced ABAP Consultant

Location: Noida, India (Delhi NCR) — Hybrid  |   Type: Full-Time / Contract  |   Experience: 5–7 Years  |   Team: SAP Practice / Consulting Services
We're seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant (5–7 years) to lead end-to-end technical delivery on SAP S/4HANA from our Noida office. You'll partner directly with clients and functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and build high-quality custom objects across implementation, rollout, and support engagements — while mentoring junior developers in a fast-paced consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead requirement-gathering with clients and onshore/offshore teams, translating business needs into technical designs and effort estimates.
  • Own delivery of custom ABAP objects (RICEFW) on S/4HANA using modern ABAP — CDS views, AMDP, and OData following the code-to-data paradigm.
  • Build enhancements (BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework, BAPIs) and integrations (IDocs, RFCs, Proxies, REST/SOAP, SAP Gateway) in line with Clean Core principles.
  • Develop forms (Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, SAPscript) and tune code with HANA-optimized techniques.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants (MM, SD, FI/CO, PM) and provide AMS/production support with root-cause analysis and SLA-based resolution.
  • Mentor junior developers, lead code reviews (ATC, Code Inspector), and maintain technical documentation and standards.
What You'll Bring
  • 5–7 years of SAP ABAP development experience, including 2–3 years on S/4HANA.
  • Strong core ABAP: Reports (ALV), Module Pool, BDC, LSMW, and OOABAP.
  • Hands-on experience with CDS Views, AMDP, OData/SAP Gateway, and enhancement techniques (BAdIs, User Exits, BAPIs).
  • Solid grasp of SAP HANA concepts, HANA-optimized ABAP, and interface technologies (IDocs, RFC, ALE, Proxies).
  • Form development experience (Adobe Forms, Smart Forms, SAPscript) and at least 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementation or rollout.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; willing to work client-facing from the Noida office with occasional travel.
  • Knowledge of SAP Workflow/Flexible Workflow and Agile/Scrum delivery.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
  • SAP Fiori/UI5 and the RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
  • Exposure to SAP BTP, side-by-side extensibility, and Clean Core concepts.
  • SAP ABAP for S/4HANA certification and experience with onsite–offshore delivery.
