What does a Sanitizer Lead do at Swire Coca-Cola?

The Sanitizer Lead guides and supports 2nd shift sanitation team members in completing internal sanitation work, including CIP processes for blending systems and production fillers. This role also covers cleaning of the filler room, packaging areas, water treatment area, and quality assurance laboratory, including tanks, lines, valves, conveyors, manifolds, floors, and walls. The Sanitizer Lead ensures work is completed in accordance with GMP policies, supports training and coaching on sanitation processes, and serves as a resource for issue escalation and resolution. This role also evaluates and prioritizes work assignments to ensure resources are aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Sanitation Specialist to review daily work assignments and priorities for the 2nd shift sanitation team
• Partner with the Sanitation Specialist to assess 2nd shift team member skills and develop training plans that build sanitizer capability
• Align team members to sanitation tasks on 2nd shift to ensure daily work is completed
• Support and ensure the cleaning and sanitizing of blending, carbonating, and filling equipment, syrup lines, syrup hoses, syrup tanks, floors, and walls in assigned areas
• Support operational housekeeping for the in-house Water Treatment Facility, exterior equipment surfaces in the Bulk and Mix rooms, and GMP housekeeping in the syrup room and filling areas
• Complete and support sanitation tasks as needed, including chemical titration testing, ATP testing, CIP execution, pre- and post-sanitation inspections, and sanitation documentation
• Document and report daily completed work, issues encountered, and solutions applied using IWS tools and problem-solving frameworks
• Any other tasks/responsibilities assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or GED) required
• 4+ years Sanitation / Cleaning experience preferred
• 1+ years Production / Manufacturing leadership experience preferred
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on occasion
• Basic math proficiency for chemical measurement and titration
