Tip Top Poultry - Rockmart, GA

3rd Shift - Sanitation

Pay: $14.50/Hour ($17.50 with perfect attendance bonus)

Hours: Night Shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure food safety, quality and legality.
• Responsible for implementing cleaning procedures on assigned equipment
• Ensures he and other employees are following GMPs, safety and personal procedures
• Completes paperwork as required
• Inspects equipment in their area to ensure proper cleaning
• Reports any damage to equipment to upper management
• Assists in other departmental areas as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds (occasionally more); ability to bend, squat, and climb repeatedly for an entire shift; job requires extensive use of the hands for long periods of time; long periods of standing; ability to adapt to varying work environments, such as waste, debris, and cold or hot weather)

Skills and Knowledge:

• Oral communication and critical thinking
• Adherence to Company policies and standards
• Basic computer skills
• Advanced knowledge of all equipment and cleaning procedures (CIP, SSOP)
• Advanced knowledge of chemicals in plant
• Advanced information of departmental areas
• Good knowledge of GMP’s, dress code, and safety rules
