As a Bottling Sanitation Operator 1, you are responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary facility, ensuring that all equipment and work areas meet safety, quality, GMP, and SQF standards. This entry level position supports overall sanitation activities, follows established protocols, and helps maintain a safe working environment. This position requires the ability to work effectively as part of a team and open to learning.

Essential Functions:

  • Follow the Master Sanitation Schedule and complete assigned cleaning tasks.
  • Maintain bottling line and facility cleanliness, adhering to company policies and safety procedures.
  • Safely and efficiently sanitize equipment to meet production goals while ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Operate a forklift to collect, stage, and load recycling for outbound shipping.
  • Monitor and report any issues related to the bottling line, quality, packaging equipment, or food safety concerns to leadership.
  • Wear and properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (gloves, eye protection, hearing protection, aprons, boots, etc.).
  • Ensure proper handling, dilution, and disposal of cleaning chemicals in compliance with MSDS guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with the Bottling Sanitation Team and Bottling Operations Team to uphold sanitation best practices.
  • Support compliance with SQF standards, food safety policies, and company quality management systems.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 1+ year in sanitation within a manufacturing environment (preferably food or beverage).
  • Ability to work effectively in a regulated, high-control environment.
  • Willingness to complete additional training as required.
  • Forklift operation experience preferred. Must be able to pass forklift certification upon hire
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Adaptability to changing schedules and production demands.

Working Conditions:

  • Moderate to heavy physical work (lifting to 50 lbs.)
  • Work may be required at various Trinchero Family Estates facilities.
  • Shift work, weekends, and overtime may be required.
  • Extended periods of standing (8+ hours per day).
  • Compliance with safety equipment requirements (earplugs, safety glasses, etc.).
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals, machinery, forklifts, noise, and temperature variations.
  • High-demand periods may require long and irregular hours

Salary Range: $20.05 - $24.50

The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location.
