Sanitation Line Operator – Continental Night Shifts
Location: 201 North Service Road, Burlington, Ontario

The Sanitation Line Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment while ensuring product quality, food safety, and sanitation standards are maintained. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime, reducing waste, and supporting efficient production operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Inspect product quality and size and make adjustments to equipment as required.
• Set up Bosch machines and tubers according to the production schedule.
• Communicate production requirements with drivers, line operators, and team members.
• Perform regular quality checks to ensure seals, labels, date codes, case codes, and finished products meet quality standards.
• Report any quality or equipment concerns to the Lead Hand or Supervisor.
• Monitor production lines to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
• Conduct hourly line checks to verify smooth operation.
• Monitor temperatures, fan speeds, and recipe mixes to ensure optimal product quality.
• Remain near assigned equipment to minimize downtime and product waste.
• Ensure production targets and quality expectations are achieved.
• Complete startup and shutdown inspections and required documentation each shift.
• Verify that doors, equipment, and work areas are operating properly and safely.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing, production, sanitation, or a related environment is considered an asset.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical work for extended periods.

Compensation: $21.84.62 per hour, $0.50 per hour shift premium
