Over 300 employeesHolland Plant has been around since 1897Products produced: Sweet relish, Grey Poupon mustard, yellow mustard, vinegar, pickle variations, BBQ sauceUnion Facility – Retail, Wholesale, and Department Store Union (RWDSU)Clean and Sanitize production lines and peripheral areas throughout the facility. This position uses various chemicals used to properly clean and sanitize the lines.
Assure that we are always working to meet or exceed our quality standards. This includes but is not limited to the following tasks:Following GMP requirementsInspecting raw materials and finished goodsCompleting quality documentationAssisting in rework as assignedEscalating quality defects and concerns to leads/supervisorsResponsible for the operation of sanitation workers in the facility include but is not limited to the following tasks:Remove trash cans, totes and other containers from the line. Following PPE requirementsTurn equipment on and drain / empty fillers and conveyors of excess or unprocessed product residuePre-rinse equipment to remove food residue and soilsApply chemicals as instructed for various lines and productsAllow chemicals to soak or CIP for the required amount of timeRinse chemicals to remove all remaining food residue, soils and chemicals residueWash and/or sweep the remaining product residue from the floorOperate a forklift to perform sanitation duties such as removing trashPerform all duties within compliance of GMP and Safety protocolsPerform any other duties as instructed by Lead Person and/or Supervisor such as Master SanitationPerform any other duty as required by supervisor or lead personEscalating safety defects and concerns to leads/supervisorsSupport Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS) at the operator level. Personal Protective Equipment: The employee is regularly required to wear company authorized safety shoes, hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, rubber boots, chemical protection and other personal protective equipment to successfully perform the functions of this job safely.
