Job Description

The purpose of this position is to clean and sanitize the plant by using appropriate chemicals before the start of operation.

Your responsibilities include:

• Ensure the plant is cleaned and sanitized daily.
• Handling and using the cleaning chemical properly.
• Using high-pressure hoses safely.

Qualifications

To perform the job, you should be able to:

• Work in wet conditions.
• Handling chemicals safely.
• Use high water pressure hose.
• Climb Ladder.
• Stand for long periods of time

You are required to:

• Have good vision and depth perception.
• Clean and Inspect equipment for proper cleaning prior to inspection.
• Focus on the task without being distracted.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices
• Report any problems and/or safety issues immediately to a supervisor.
• Comply with company drug and alcohol policy.
• Comply with all safety rules and lock Out/Tag Out Procedure.
• Comply with all other company policies.

Your job performance:

• Will be evaluated daily by your supervisor.
• Will be documented as substandard if it is through a series of warnings, beginning with an oral warning, progressing to a written warning, then a final warning, and ending your employment with termination.
• Issues will be handled with your Supervisor, Human Resources, and a union steward.
• Issues will become part of your personnel file.
