• Shift:Monday-Friday 6am-2pm
• Pay: $16.75 per hour.

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also have the following skills: The Sanitation Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility. This role ensures all work areas, restrooms, and common spaces meet company cleanliness and sanitation standards while supporting a safe workplace for employees and visitors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain sanitation standards throughout the facility by performing routine cleaning and housekeeping tasks.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including fixtures, sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors.
• Sweep, dust, mop, and vacuum floors in warehouse, office, and common areas.
• Respond promptly to spills and other cleaning needs to ensure a safe work environment.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas.
• Dust surfaces, equipment, and fixtures to maintain cleanliness and prevent debris buildup.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, mops, and other sanitation tools as needed.
• Push and pull cleaning carts, equipment, and supplies throughout the facility.
• Replenish restroom and sanitation supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue.
• Follow all company safety procedures and sanitation guidelines.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or supply shortages to management.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to walk for extended periods throughout the work shift.
• Frequent pushing and pulling of sanitation carts, cleaning equipment, and supplies.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning motions.
• Ability to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment as required.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods while performing sanitation duties.
• Capable of working in various indoor facility environments.

Work Environment:

• Warehouse, office, restroom, and common-area cleaning responsibilities.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and sanitation products while following established safety procedures and PPE requirements.

This position plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe facility for all employees and visitors.

Role Purpose

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness in and around company facilities

Key Accountabilities

• Clean warehouse utilizing a variety of equipment and products.
• Remove all refuse from offices and building daily.
• Repair damaged pallets.
• Remove ice and snow from walkways and parking lots.
• Wash and sweep inside of trailers.
• Clean break room and work areas.
• Maintain exterior property, keeping it clean and orderly.

Required Education and Experience

• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program with the first 30 days of employment
• 0-6 months general warehouse experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred
