Performs scheduled/unscheduled inspections, minor/major maintenance, operational checkouts and troubleshooting on assigned powered / non-powered type ground support equipment/vehicles
What you will be responsible for:
●Performs daily flight line driving and servicing functions on simple components
●Maintains documentation and time accounting systems associated with repairs (Track labor hours per job)
●Complies with all applicable technical orders, equipment manuals
●Maintains immediate work area, facilities, and vehicles using good housekeeping and safety practices
●Performs other duties as required
What you will need to be successful in this role
●Thorough knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic principles
●Microsoft Office basics
●Perform basic troubleshooting
●Learn industry-related software
●Operate common and special hand and power tools
●Ability to work both as a team and/or independently with great success.
●Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
