Purpose of the role
Under the responsibility of the Product Development and Quality Control Manager, the candidate will need to work closely with all production teams and departments responsible for product development. The candidate must ensure proper logistics for the samples and their maintenance.
Key responsibilities
• Place all samples received throughout the season onto the appropriate hanger, following the hanging guide according to the product;
• Ensure the filing, organization, and maintenance of the various samples received throughout the season, for all product divisions;
• Manage the opening of daily packages received from overseas suppliers and ensure distribution to the specified internal personnel;
• Stamp all samples (clothing, fabrics, color submissions) with the current date;
• Prepare weekly packages for overseas suppliers by filling out customs declaration forms and preparing the necessary copies for shipping the packages;
• Be responsible for managing samples for photoshoots, including making requests and following up with suppliers (receiving the samples, recording the receipt dates, updating the sample lists, and ensuring the logistics for handing over the samples with the marketing department);
• Support the technical design team with various sample requests, such as collection presentation meetings, missing samples for photoshoots, and others;
• Support the quality control team by performing wash tests, entering data into the system, and assisting with sample measurements.

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent;
• Administrative background;
• Bilingualism written and spoken (The person must communicate outside Quebec) ;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook;
