Location: Banksmeadow, NSW | Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 2:00PM – 10:00PM
Team Global Express is looking for a reliable and organised Same Day Allocator to support our operations team in Banksmeadow.
This role is focused on coordinating drivers and fleet resources to ensure all same day pick-ups and deliveries are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard. You’ll be at the centre of the operation, working closely with drivers, customers and internal teams to keep things moving.
Coordinating same day pick-ups and deliveries across the metro network
Allocating jobs to drivers and subcontractors based on priority and availability
Monitoring deliveries and tracking progress throughout the day
Communicating with drivers, customers and suppliers to manage expectations
Responding to calls, emails and enquiries in a timely manner
Managing delays or issues and providing updates to customers
Supporting operational efficiency by using internal systems and tools
Working closely with operations teams, branches and account managers
Following all safety procedures and reporting any hazards or incidents
Experience in transport, logistics or fast-paced operations
Previous experience in fleet allocation or coordination (preferred)
Strong knowledge of Sydney metro area
Good communication skills and ability to deal with drivers and customers
Comfortable using systems and basic Microsoft Office tools
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks
Able to work under pressure and stay organised
Team player with a proactive approach
Stable, full-time role in a busy operation
