Mō te whai waahi | About the opportunity

We're currently looking for a motivated salesperson to support our Hokitika store You will be working on a casual basis, and we require flexibility across the week. Availability between 8am–5pm is preferred.

Reporting to the Business Manager, your key focus will be providing great service to shareholders in our retail store.

You will concentrate on:

  • Providing retail sales and customer service to our shareholders.

  • Giving advice to customers on a range of dairy, equine, sheep and beef and general agricultural products

  • Operating a point of sale (POS) system.

  • Completing administrative tasks such as ordering and receipting of stock.

  • Restocking and displaying our products.

Mōhou ake | About you

We're looking for someone with a sound background in the farming sector and a broad knowledge of products and services. You will also have proven experience in retail sales or customer service.

  • You will have sound computer skills

  • You will have a full clean Class 1 driver's license

  • You will be physically fit as there will be lifting and manual handling tasks
