Job Description


As a Technical Architect, you design, describe, and maintain software architecture of the project with our team. Working in consultation with relevant stakeholders, you develop the requirements and determine how these are implemented in the software architecture. In addition to the standard development, you look after the development team in their work. You create the documentation of the software architecture and evaluate the selected architecture as well as the design in terms of functionality, performance, quality and timing. In this way you are a proactive part of our agile, team-centric development process, bring in your own experiences and identify risks and opportunities. When any part of the team struggles you jump into to help find the solution. You are also responsible for advancing and driving the evolution of our internal frameworks, software engineering guidelines, and best practices. Finally, you represent the highest level of technical understanding to our clients, helping them to understand the full scope of the project and potential present and future risks. Your task in detail: • Definition, design, maintenance and evaluation of the software architecture • Supporting our delivery team in every aspect of their work • Identify opportunities, risks and problem solving • Communication with our customers as the highest level of technical authority • Consulting in and executing presales activities • Software development in a team • Mentoring and knowledge transfer


Requirements


Competencies


  • Previous experience as aTechnical Architect in B2B commerce environments. Hands-on experience with platforms offering extensive configuration capabilities (e.g., Salesforce B2B Commerce, ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamics). Demonstrated success in deploying enterprise-grade solutions with minimal custom coding.

  • Deep understanding of B2B commerce workflows, pricing models, and customer hierarchies. Strong grasp of configuration management principles and best practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communicator with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
