WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a Senior Salesforce Technical Lead & Architect you will take full ownership of our Salesforce-based B2B webshop and CRM platform. You’ll lead technical delivery across Commerce, Service, and Sales Cloud implementations — and ensure we’re ready for our upcoming transition from B2B to B2C. Your role is both strategic and hands-on: architecting scalable solutions, leading dev best practices, and being a trusted escalation point in high-stakes situations.

This is a long-term role with high visibility, ideal for a candidate ready to commit to platform leadership, quality, and cross-team collaboration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Technical Teams: Guide 2–4 developers (frontend, backend, or full-stack). Review code, provide mentorship, and support issue resolution.

  • Architectural Leadership: Design and own the technical architecture across Commerce, Service, and Sales Cloud Define scalable solutions that align with business needs and future platform direction (e.g. B2C rollout). Marketing Cloud exposure is a plus.

  • Agentforce & Einstein AI Integration: Actively apply and manage use of Agentforce and Einstein AI capabilities across relevant services.

  • Legacy Integration Oversight: Oversee in place integrations with legacy order/quote/product systems using MuleSoft You understand the ecosystem well enough to spot issues or advise improvements.

  • CI/CD & Release Management: Maintain and improve our CI/CD setup (Bitbucket Pipelines, SFDX, sandbox workflows). Ensure clean, tested releases to production.

  • Production Readiness & Incident Management: Step in during urgent incidents, investigate critical bugs, and ensure stability across the full Salesforce + legacy stack.

  • Agile & Delivery Support: Participate in backlog refinement, ensure clear technical understanding of business analyst requirements, and help developers in estimating stories.

  • QA Collaboration: Work closely with our QA lead to define testing scope, expectations, and readiness per feature.

  • Strategic Planning: Prepare and lead the Commerce Cloud B2C rollout project, including architectural planning, phased rollout, and risk identification.

WHAT’S NEEDED FOR YOU TO THRIVE

  • 8+ years of Salesforce experience, with 5+ in technical leadership or architectural roles.

  • Expert-level knowledge in Commerce Cloud, Service Cloud, and Sales Cloud, experience in Marketing Cloud.

  • Hands-on experience with Agentforce and Einstein AI in a live Salesforce environment.

  • Deep proficiency in Lightning (Apex + LWC) and working knowledge of LWR

  • Understanding of MuleSoft-based integrations, even if not hands-on — you can guide and challenge integration teams.

  • Strong background in CI/CD pipelines within the Salesforce ecosystem and use of Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence

  • Proven ability to resolve production issues quickly and reliably — take accountability seriously.

  • Experience in Agile/Scrum, especially refinement and PI planning in a cross-functional team setup.

  • Excellent spoken and written English. You communicate with developers, analysts, QA, and leadership with ease.

  • Residing in CET timezone and available for remote work. Open to travel two times a year for PI events.

  • Commerce Cloud Developer

  • Sales Cloud Consultant / Service Cloud Consultant

  • Einstein AI or Marketing Cloud certification is a plus
