The Salesforce System Administrator is responsible for serving as the primary administrator for the City of Cleveland’s Salesforce environment. the administrator ensures secure system configuration, reliable data operations, accurate access governance, and ongoing improvements aligned with business needs. This role ensures system reliability, data integrity, secure access management, and continuous improvements aligned with business needs across Innovation & Technology Services (ITS) and the business departments The administrator collaborates closely with program managers, business analysts, leadership, and external partners to deliver a stable, user-friendly, and scalable platform.
Coordinates with staff involved in the development, implementation, and improvement of departmental programs, services, and/or operational processes. Supervises and oversees planning, analysis, coordination, implementation, and documentation of departmental activities to ensure alignment with goals, objectives and established standards.
Responsible program planning, including the development and review of project plans to ensure objectives and requirements are met. Resolves issues related to staffing, resources, timelines, or operational priorities and addresses complex administrative or operational matters.
Evaluate and/or assess effectiveness of programs and recommend improvements. May oversee planning, budgeting, and activities related to departmental programs, services, or operational resources.
Monitors project timelines and expenditures to ensure. Prepares reports regarding program activities, project status, and operational issues. Performs other job-related duties as required.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field from an accredited four-year college or university required.
(Substitution: Two years of any equivalent combination of education, training and experience may substitute for each year of college education lacking.
(Substitution: A project or program management certification may substitute for up to two years college education.)
Five years of full-time paid experience in program or project management, administrative operations, or a related field required.
Must be proficient in the use of computers and common office software applications.
Must possess strong written, verbal, organizational, communication, and time management skills.
Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of thirty (30) pounds.
Valid State of Ohio Driver’s License required.
