Senior Salesforce Developer responsible for hands-on configuration and custom development across the
Salesforce platform, primarily supporting Patient Services use cases across Health Cloud, Service
Cloud, Experience Cloud, and enterprise integrations. This role executes solution designs created by the
Salesforce Architect and works closely with Business Analysts, PMO, QA, and cross-functional business
teams. This is an individual contributor role. No travel. Fully remote. Healthcare-oriented Salesforce roles
commonly center on Health Cloud, Service Cloud, digital engagement, and secure integration patterns,
which aligns well with this structure.
Core Responsibilities
• Implement Salesforce solutions using configuration and custom code aligned to approved
architecture and functional designs
• Develop and maintain Apex (classes, triggers, async processing), Lightning Web Components (LWC),
and Flows
• Build and support patient services workflows, including intake, case management, enrollment
support, benefit verification support, care coordination, and service request handling
• Deliver Service Cloud capabilities such as case management, Omnichannel routing, entitlements,
email-to-case, and agent productivity enhancements
• Support Health Cloud or similar patient-centric data models, care programs, and engagement
processes where applicable
• Design and implement integrations using MuleSoft or similar middleware, including REST/SOAP APIs,
event-driven patterns, and external platform connectivity
• Support integration reliability practices including monitoring, error handling, retries, and idempotent
processing
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical design reviews within Agile delivery
teams
• Write unit tests, support SIT/UAT, and resolve defects across development and release cycles
• Support regulated life sciences and patient services delivery requirements, including validation,
auditability, traceability, and change control
• Follow SDLC and CI/CD release practices and contribute to stable, scalable production support
Required Qualifications
• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL, and Salesforce data modeling
• Experience with multiple Salesforce clouds, with Service Cloud required and Health Cloud preferred
• Experience building and supporting enterprise integrations
• Experience with DevOps practices including Git, SFDX, and CI/CD tools
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams
Required Salesforce Certifications
• Salesforce Platform Developer I
• Salesforce Administrator preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience
Nice to Have
• Life sciences, healthcare, or patient services project experience
• Experience with Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, or patient support portals
• Experience with Life Sciences Cloud
• Exposure to benefit verification, prior authorization, patient onboarding, adherence, or support
program workflows
• Exposure to GxP-regulated, validated, or privacy-sensitive environments
