The Role

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to design, build, and implement high-quality solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy scalable, efficient Salesforce solutions that drive business outcomes. As a Salesforce Developer, your role is key in enhancing our Salesforce environment, ensuring integration with other business systems, and providing innovative features that enhance user experience and business productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development and Customization: Design, develop, and implement custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and other Salesforce tools.

  • Integration: Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise applications using APIs and third-party integration tools.

  • Solution Design: Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust, scalable solutions that meet business needs.

  • Code Quality and Best Practices: Ensure high code quality and maintain adherence to Salesforce best practices, including code reviews, comprehensive documentation, and proper testing (unit testing, integration testing).

  • Optimization and Troubleshooting: Analyze and optimize Salesforce system performance, resolving technical issues, and improving scalability and reliability.

  • Change Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage the deployment of changes through sandbox environments and ensure adherence to change management policies.

  • Data Management: Maintain data integrity and security through data validation rules, data management tools, and compliance with governance frameworks.

  • Compliance Support: Work closely with the Compliance Team to ensure Salesforce solutions comply with data privacy regulations, security protocols, and internal policies.

  • Collaboration: Actively contribute to team meetings, workshops, and technical discussions, sharing expertise and collaborating with business analysts, administrators, and other developers.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Technical Expertise:

    • 3+ years of Salesforce development experience with a focus on Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce platform configuration.

    • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (required) or Platform Developer II certification (desirable).

    • Proven experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs and third-party tools (e.g., Mulesoft).

  • Solution Design: Strong ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions using Salesforce technologies.

  • Data Management and Security: Solid experience with data import/export, data validation, deduplication, and data security measures within Salesforce.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with minimal supervision.

  • Collaboration: Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Agile Methodology: Experience working in agile development environments, including familiarity with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Shield, or other Salesforce products.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and Salesforce DevOps practices.

  • Knowledge of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR) and their impact on Salesforce implementations.
