Valmet’s Lead to Order Team is looking for an experienced and results driven Senior Salesforce Field Service Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions that enable our global business processes. In this role, you will leverage your extensive hands-on expertise across the Salesforce Field Service ecosystem, delivering high quality features, integrations, and custom components with an emphasis on performance, reliability and with user experience in mind.
The ideal candidate brings 5-10 years of proven professional experience in Salesforce development, deep knowledge of platform best practices, capabilities and limitations, and practical experience in modern development methodologies.
Your role and responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain features and enhancements on the Salesforce platform
Document, test, and deploy Salesforce features following DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems.
Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce releases, assess their relevance, and recommend improvements to enhance Valmet’s Salesforce landscape.
Identify, reduce, and prevent technical debt across the Salesforce environment.
Ensure alignment with Valmet’s architectural guidelines, security standards, and data governance practices.
Support external AMS team in major incidents and recurring issues.
Support root cause analysis and implementation of long-term fixes.
Required Experience and Qualification:
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce Field Service.
Experience working on large-scale implementations of CRM solutions.
Extensive experience in Salesforce development with APEX, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, Approval Process, Data Security model, Triggers, Visualforce, Flow, Reports, Dashboards, Dynamic forms, and others.
Experience using development tools and techniques such as Visual Studio code, static code analysis and generative AI.
Experience with environment management, data management, release management, version control, code coverage, and CI/CD deployment methodologies.
Experience with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with Salesforce API and Web Services (REST/SOAP/Bulk).
Experienced with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Relevant Salesforce certifications, like Platform Developer I or II, App Builder or Administrator
Documentation of implemented features
Competencies and skills of the position
Fluent spoken and written English language
Good communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Collaborate closely with developers, admins, and business stakeholders to align implementation with project goals.
Recommend process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
Knowledge of GDPR regulations
Familiarity with Western business practices and work culture.
