The team you will be a part of

The Information Systems team is responsible for implementation of the enterprise architecture and the development and maintenance of the organization's computing/IT environment. Determines and develops architectural approaches and solutions, conducts business reviews, documents current systems and develops recommendations of how to proceed with the applications.

This role in summary

Technical Salesforce (SFDC) Developer responsible for end-to-end requirement gathering, solution architecture design, hands-on Apex/LWC development, and seamless integration management across Whirlpool India platforms.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Partner with business stakeholders to analyze, translate, and elaborate complex business needs into clear functional and technical specifications.
  • Engage in end-to-end design sessions and provide technical support, including making technology recommendations, architectural decisions,
  • Perform hands-on customization, configuration, and custom development on Salesforce platforms using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Flow Builder.
  • Design, build, and maintain robust API integrations (REST/SOAP) connecting Salesforce with internal systems, third-party applications, and cloud-to-on-premise databases.
  • Act as a techno-functional liaison to bridge gaps between business processes, IT delivery partners, and technical implementation teams.
  • Conduct performance tuning, code reviews, and troubleshooting to optimize platform performance and ensure scalability.
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of Salesforce projects across implementation, enhancement rollouts, and application maintenance support (AMS) lifecycle phases.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical specification documents,
  • Stay updated on current Salesforce releases, technical advancements, and industry best practices to continuously drive innovation.
  • Transfer domain knowledge to peer team members and drive technical quality standards across development streams.

Minimum requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce (SFDC) Developer and Techno-Functional Consultant, with demonstrable expertise in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL.
  • Strong experience in functional requirement gathering, business process mapping, and translating business rules into technical configurations.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing REST/SOAP web services, JSON/XML conversions, and middleware integrations connecting SFDC to SAP or other third-party platforms.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce platform security, custom objects, process automation (Flows), validation rules, and deployment tools (Change Sets, Salesforce CLI, CI/CD).
  • Experience working across full lifecycle implementations, enhancements, system rollouts, and AMS support models.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and self-management skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced corporate environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical solutions clearly to business stakeholders and non-technical partners.

Preferred skills and experiences

  • Education: B. Tech / MCA
  • Certifications: Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, or Salesforce Certified Development Lifecycle & Deployment Architect (preferred).
  • Background: Salesforce Development, Java, Web Services, API Management
  • Years of Experience: 3–5 years
