About the Opportunity

This is a newly created opportunity for a Salesforce AI Developer to join RACV’s Salesforce team and help accelerate the safe and practical adoption of AI-enabled capabilities across our Salesforce platform.

In this role, you’ll work on the design, development and implementation of Salesforce AI and automation solutions, with a strong focus on Agentforce, AI-assisted service experiences, integrations, secure automation and scalable Salesforce development practices

You’ll collaborate closely with Technical Leads, Architects, Product teams, Data & AI teams, Cyber Security, Business Analysts and delivery squads to turn emerging AI opportunities into well-governed, maintainable and measurable Salesforce solutions.

Key responsibilities include

  • Design, build, test and deploy Salesforce AI-enabled solutions using Agentforce and related Salesforce platform capabilities
  • Develop Salesforce components, services and integrations that support AI-assisted workflows and intelligent automation.
  • Build secure and maintainable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, flows, APIs and platform configuration.
  • Support the creation of agent actions, automation patterns and system integrations that allow AI-enabled experiences to interact safely with business processes.
  • Work with Architects and Technical Leads to ensure AI solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, privacy and engineering standards.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts and stakeholders to understand business problems and identify practical AI-enabled solution patterns.
  • Integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems, data services and APIs to support end-to-end AI and automation use cases.
  • Apply strong software engineering practices across code quality, peer reviews, testing, CI/CD, observability and documentation.
  • Support proof-of-concepts and innovation activities while maintaining delivery discipline and governance.
  • Identify risks, technical constraints and implementation considerations for AI-enabled Salesforce solutions.
  • Contribute to standards, reusable patterns and guardrails for responsible use of Agentforce and generative AI capabilities.
  • Support team capability uplift by sharing knowledge and helping developers adopt AI-assisted engineering practices responsibly.

What you’ll need to be successful

  • Strong Salesforce development experience across Apex, Lightning Web Components, flows and platform configuration.
  • Experience designing and implementing Salesforce integrations using APIs and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Good understanding of AI concepts, including generative AI, large language models, prompts, grounding, agent actions, automation and responsible AI considerations.
  • Exposure to Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein, Salesforce AI capabilities or similar agent-based platforms.
  • Ability to translate business use cases into clear technical designs and implementation plans.
  • Experience building secure, scalable and maintainable solutions in complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering practices, including CI/CD, source control, testing, code reviews and release management.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams across Architecture, Data & AI, Cyber, Product and Delivery.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to work through ambiguity in emerging technology areas.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain AI and technical concepts in plain English.
  • A responsible, curious and pragmatic mindset — balancing innovation with safety, quality and governance.

Highly regarded

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.
  • Salesforce AI Associate, AI Specialist or relevant Agentforce certification.
  • Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, Knowledge, Service Cloud or Experience Cloud.
  • Experience designing agent actions, invocable Apex, flows or API-based automation for AI-enabled use cases.
  • Exposure to prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation, knowledge grounding, AI observability or agent testing.
  • Experience in regulated, customer-facing or enterprise technology environments.
  • Understanding of security, privacy, auditability and operational controls for AI-enabled solutions.
