The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Director, Salesforce & MuleSoft Platforms, the Salesforce Developer contributes to the design, development, and maintenance of the organization’s Salesforce ecosystem. This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions aligned with business needs across Patient Support Programs (PSPs) and Clinic Solutions teams.

The Salesforce Developer works closely with cross-functional teams—including business analysts, administrators, MuleSoft developers, QA specialists, and operations teams—to deliver reliable solutions across the full patient journey.

A Day in the Life (What you will do here):

Platform Development & Configuration

  • Develop and maintain Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and other declarative tools.
  • Support the implementation of business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Contribute to application development following established architecture and coding standards.
  • Ensure solutions comply with security and regulatory requirements (including healthcare data privacy where applicable).

Enhancements & Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in sprint activities such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve performance, usability, and system efficiency.
  • Support ongoing enhancements and bug fixes for the Salesforce platform.

Integration & Data Management

  • Collaborate with MuleSoft, integration teams, and data analytics teams to support API-driven integrations and reporting.
  • Maintain data quality, integrity, and consistency across Salesforce and integrated systems.
  • Follow best practices for secure data handling and governance.

Quality, Operations & Support

  • Follow development best practices including testing, documentation, and code reviews.
  • Support Tier 2 production issues and troubleshooting.
  • Contribute to platform reliability and system stability.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with administrators, analysts, and developers to deliver solutions.
  • Participate in knowledge sharing and documentation practices.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager

What you need to ensure you are set up for success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, LWC, triggers, OmniScript, integrations, and declarative automation.
  • Experience working in a healthcare or pharmaceutical vertical is an asset
  • Understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, data model, and security best practices. Experience with Life Sciences Cloud or Health Cloud is an asset.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with Agentforce or other AI tools is an asset
  • Exposure to DevOps tools (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Azure DevOps) is an asset.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I) are an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • The anticipated base salary hiring range for this role is 90K to 104K annually. The final base salary will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, and internal equity.
