Salesforce CPQ Developer1

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce CPQ Developer to design, develop, and optimize scalable Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) solutions on the Salesforce platform. You will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and engineering teams to translate complex pricing and quoting requirements into efficient, high-performing CPQ configurations and customizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and develop solutions using Salesforce CPQ to support complex pricing, quoting, and contract lifecycle processes.
  • Implement and customize CPQ objects such as Products, Product Rules, Price Rules, Quote Templates, and Approval Workflows.
  • Develop advanced CPQ solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and APIs where standard CPQ functionality is insufficient.
  • Work with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable CPQ architecture and solutions.
  • Optimize CPQ performance, pricing logic, and quote generation processes.
  • Integrate Salesforce CPQ with external systems such as ERP, billing, and revenue recognition platforms.
  • Build and maintain complex product bundles, discounting rules, and subscription pricing models.
  • Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance across CPQ processes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve CPQ-related issues and provide production support.
  • Participate in code reviews, deployment activities, and release management using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices and technical standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, including at least 2-3 years in Salesforce CPQ
  • Strong expertise in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs
  • Hands-on experience with CPQ features: Product Rules, Price Rules, Quote Templates, Approval Rules, and Discount Schedules.
  • Experience with complex pricing models, subscriptions, and revenue recognition concepts.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and security architecture.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist or Advanced Admin Certification.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I/II Certification.
  • Experience with Salesforce Revenue Cloud or Billing solutions.
  • Knowledge of DevOps tools (Gearset, Copado, Jenkins, Git).
  • Exposure to enterprise SaaS or subscription-based business models.
