Job Title: Senior Salesforce Architect

Experience : 8+ Yrs

We are seeking an experienced, senior-level Salesforce Architect to support and enhance our Salesforce platform. This role serves as a primary senior architect and administrator within a collaborative team environment, working alongside our lead Salesforce architect. The ideal candidate brings advanced platform expertise, strong judgment in scalable system design, hands-on experience implementing complex automation, and a proven ability to improve legacy architecture.

This position is project and task focused, executing against a strategic vision while bringing senior-level ownership to solution design and delivery. The Senior Salesforce Architect will regularly work with stakeholders to gather requirements, document business processes, and contribute to solution architecture in a collaborative manner. Their primary responsibility is to deliver high-quality, scalable, extensible implementations that support both current and future business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary architect and administrator for Salesforce, collaborating closely with the lead architect for direction, strategy, and architectural review.
  • Design, build, and optimize complex Salesforce Flows and automation to support advanced business processes, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and best practices.
  • Improve legacy structures and existing architectural components by refactoring outdated configurations, workflows, flows, and processes.
  • Implement new system integrations, including data mapping, API-led or headless architecture considerations, workflow logic, error handling, and cross-system synchronization requirements.
  • Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, record types, permission sets, profiles, validation rules, layouts/Lightning apps, and other advanced platform features.
  • Execute and manage project tasks, enhancements, and platform updates based on a defined strategic plan.
  • Support data integrity and quality initiatives, including advanced data loads, data transformations, and ongoing data maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated reports and dashboards to support visibility into operations and business performance.
  • Meet with stakeholders to gather requirements, understand business needs, and document processes in clear, actionable formats.
  • Collaborate with team members to architect improved solutions, ensuring technically sound, extensible, and scalable implementations that reflect senior-level architectural judgment.

Preferred:

  • Experience administering Certinia (FinancialForce) PSA.
  • Experience with sales and marketing automation tools such as SalesLoft, HubSpot, and Salesforce Engagement platforms.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce Headless 360 or headless/composable Salesforce architecture patterns.
  • Familiarity with Apex, SOQL, or LWC helpful but not required.


Requirements

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, System Architect, Application Architect
  • Minimum 8 years of REAL WORLD Salesforce administration and architecture experience, including designing and deploying comprehensive architectural solutions, complex Flows, and multi-level automations.
  • Strong understanding of complex workflows, criteria-driven automation, and data relationships.
  • Experience implementing or supporting integrations between Salesforce and external systems, including API-based integrations and cross-platform data flows.
  • Experience with AI-enabled Salesforce capabilities, AI-assisted automation, predictive insights, or similar AI-driven business workflow solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience improving legacy architecture and modernizing Salesforce implementations. You will be responsible for permissions forensics, field retirement, complex Flow consolidation, etc.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to execute project-based tasks, make sound senior-level technical decisions, and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
