SUMMARY

The SalesForce Administrator is part of the Data Engineering team that supports the entire organization in developing, programming and supporting the CRM tool as well as organizational processes. This position serves as an administrator of the tool to meet organizational priorities and needs. The SalesForce Administrator also troubleshoots and works with colleagues to ensure the application meets the operational needs of the organization. Promptly responds to requests with a high degree of professionalism.

PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Daily administration and support of Cases in the SalesForce database, customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validations.
  • Working with management to create and manage complex workflow rules, data validation and triggers.
  • Develop and create customized reports and dashboards.
  • Create and document application requirements by working together with those involved in the development of program enhancements and changes including outside consultants if needed.
  • Manage the software testing process.
  • Keep abreast of new SalesForce features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Keep application management informed of new system functionality and enhancements.
  • Log and track identified system problems through resolution.
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help-related materials for users as database applications are developed.
  • Must maintain strong knowledge of SalesForce best practices.
  • Support the bank management as needed.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives as needed.
  • Follow bank policy and procedures.
  • Performs additional duties as required.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.

QualificationsEXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years SalesForce experience.
  • SalesForce.com Advanced Administrator Certification required.
  • Expertise in Apex preferred

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

College degree or equivalent work or technical experience.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS (SKILLS, ABILITIES, CHARACTERISTICS)

  • Knowledge of banking operations and processes highly desired.
  • Understanding of relational databases and data integration tools.
  • Experience with programming languages such as SQL, JavaScript, HTML, Java and Apex.
  • Close attention to detail.
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use critical thinking to solve complex variables using demographics, existing client data, and external information.
  • Understands process and workflow.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in working with colleagues within the bank.
