He aha te tūranga - About the role:
At Hato Hone St John, we use Salesforce as the primary CRM platform to support a vast range of services from training and donations to supporter engagement and medical alarms. We’re looking for an experienced and certified Salesforce Administrator to provide hands-on Salesforce administration across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, so as to support the efficient day to day operation of the platform and identify opportunities for improvement. This is a 12 month fixed term contract
Responsibilities include:
Provide Salesforce administration and configuration, so as to support the continuation of day to day business operations.
Champion and drive platform improvements with the goal to resolve ongoing problems.
Assist with design and undertake builds and configuration of Salesforce solutions that meet both architectural and business requirements, primarily across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
Run requirements gathering sessions and workshops with stakeholders and translate business needs into clear user stories, process maps and configuration requirements.
Test your own work and support user acceptance testing.
Perform data integrity and reconciliation tasks (imports, exports, queries, mass updates).
You’ll also build strong, credible relationships across the organisation, working with colleagues and system users to understand their needs, provide informed advice, and deliver solutions that make a genuine impact.

We are looking for a Salesforce professional who is comfortable working independently in a complex environment and take pride in delivering quality, reliable outcomes.
You’ll bring:
Salesforce Administrator certification (required) and Advanced Administrator certification or Platform App Builder (desirable).
Solid hands-on Salesforce administration experience, with a track record of delivering configuration on live projects.
Strong working knowledge of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
Confidence with flows, the security model, reporting and dashboards and data management.
Experience with case management, omni-channel or contact centre in Service Cloud (desirable_.
A highly collaborative team player with a genuine desire to help others succeed.
Excellent communication skills to be able to explain options and recommend changes to business stakeholders.
