Saluda Medical is a commercial‑stage medical device company focused on developing treatments for chronic

neurological conditions using its novel closed‑loop neuromodulation platform. The company’s proprietary

technology senses and measures neural responses to stimulation and automatically adjusts therapy based on

Saluda Medical’s first product, the Evoke® System, is designed to deliver known, consistent, and personalized

spinal cord stimulation therapy by objectively measuring neural responses and maintaining therapy within a

The Sales Training Manager is responsible for helping manage and deliver all product new hire training. The Sales

Training Manager helps manage the field team new hire training program end to-end in close collaboration with the

Head of Sales Training, as well as with sales leadership and field training personnel in the regions to ensure

consistency of capabilities and clinical practice. This position will help develop content as well as delivery methods

to ensure the most effective outcomes are achievable for the training class participants. This is a remote opportunity

and can be done anywhere in the US.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for the onboarding, training, and certification planning for all respective new hires as it relates to their training journey, solo certification process and ongoing training and professional development throughout the new hire’s tenure with Saluda
  • Assist in driving the National Field Trainer program to ensure team readiness and compliance with all training requirements
  • Manage the Field Site Training Event Program to manage attendees, providers, coordination, and outcomes of each event
  • Build and deliver all virtual content delivered to new hire cohorts between in-person training sessions
  • Attend all in-person training events, which may require extended travel (up to 2 weeks) with some weekend work, including cadaver lab execution and management, product launch meetings, and National and Global Sales Meetings
  • Serve as a subject matter expert with Spinal Cord Stimulation and, in particular, Saluda Medical Closed Loop technology
  • Serve as a direct line of communication to sales leadership regarding their new hire direct reports to continually update and adapt training plans to meet new hire learning and business needs
  • Develop efficient on-boarding process in collaboration with HR and other functions of the business
  • Help develop and deploy best-in-class techniques to deliver training programs that are engaging, actionable, sticky, scalable, and results driven
  • Assess curriculum on an on-going basis and adjust based upon a feedback process from participants, proctors and trainers
  • Develop assessment and evaluation methods to objectify the progress and success of training participants
  • Help create training agendas that meet the needs of training outcome expectations
  • Work collaboratively with other functions of the business insure new hires understand interdisciplinary team functions and their mutual needs to reach shared business goals
  • Collaborate with Field Training, R&D, and Marketing to ensure integration with product/technical training
  • Work with Upstream Marketing and R&D to support commercial readiness for product launches
  • Help develop and support key performance indicators for sales training programs, track effectiveness, and demonstrate strong financial ROI
  • Proactively support company goals, objectives, policies and procedures, and performs in accordance with industry and government regulation guidelines (i.e., FDA, AdvaMed, etc.)
  • Helps lead efforts to interface proactively with cross-functional and global regional partners, including, marketing, clinical, regional managers, sales leadership, and sales staff, to determine education and training needs. Develops strong relationships that help facilitate meeting of goals

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science or health-related field
  • 3+ years of experience managing training programs in the medical device industry, preferably in the neuromodulation space or demonstration of on-going support of training programs
  • Medical device experience required
  • Neuromodulation experience preferred
  • Experience in medical device clinical support, sales and technical device support as well as patient-facing roles
  • Sales Experience preferred
  • MBA or applicable advanced degree preferred
  • Experience with supporting and running training curriculums
  • Effective communicator and team player.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks for several trainees simultaneously as well as strong organizational and tracking skills to manage multiple projects at once
  • Strong public speaking skills
  • Adaptable to fast pace and frequently evolving environment
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles
  • Knowledge of instructional design a plus
  • Strong team player who can incorporate input from others and can generate consensus through inclusion
  • Strong cross-functional experience to drive and support organizational goals
  • Strong and creative thinker who is intellectually curious
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with customers, clinical & sales partners
  • High degree of personal integrity
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills for a wide variety of audiences, including sales & marketing leadership
