The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and engaging Sales Training & Development Specialist to drive the capability and performance of our sales teams across a national business. This role is responsible for designing, developing and delivering impactful sales training programs that support onboarding, capability uplift and the successful adoption of new sales processes, systems and tools.

Working closely with sales leaders and key stakeholders, you will create innovative learning solutions and facilitate a range of training initiatives, from new starter onboarding programs and online learning modules through to refresher sessions, one-on-one coaching and large group workshops. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate trainer who thrives on influencing outcomes and helping sales teams perform at their best.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver training on a range of sales systems and tools, including Salesforce and proprietary sales applications.
  • Design, develop and deliver engaging sales training programs for new and existing team members.
  • Create training plans, presentations, eLearning content and supporting learning materials.
  • Facilitate onboarding programs for new sales employees, including multi-day induction and capability training.
  • Foster a positive and engaging learning environment that supports knowledge retention and behavioural change.

About You

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) and proven experience delivering sales training within a large, national or complex business environment.
  • Salesforce experience, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and confidently train others in their use.
  • Demonstrated experience developing training plans, learning content and engaging presentation materials, with advanced PowerPoint skills.
  • Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills, with experience delivering onboarding programs, virtual training, group workshops and one-on-one coaching.
  • Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tailor training approaches to different learning styles.
  • Resilient and engaging communicator who builds strong stakeholder relationships and is passionate about driving sales capability and performance.
