The Sales Enablement Trainer, Iberia is responsible for driving commercial capability and performance across the Iberia sales ecosystem. The role translates business strategy into customer focused selling behaviors, ensuring strong execution, consistent capability development, and measurable commercial impact.
Operating as a trusted business partner to Sales Leadership, this role applies strong business insight, balances diverse stakeholder needs, and demonstrates situational adaptability to deliver learning solutions that improve sales effectiveness. The role contributes to regional success while aligning with European and Global Commercial Training standards and initiatives, and embraces modern, digitally enabled learning approaches to increase impact.
Key Responsibilities
Enable Commercial Excellence
Deliver and localize the global commercial training curriculum for field and internal sales teams
Translate business strategy, portfolio priorities, and market context into practical, field‑ready application
Lead onboarding, virtual and in‑person training sessions, workshops, and webinars that drive adoption and execution
Coach for Performance
Coach sales professionals through field observations (e.g. co‑rides) and structured feedback
Reinforce expected selling behaviors and commercial standards to improve consistency, confidence, and execution
Diagnose and Address Capability Needs
Use performance data, field insight, and business priorities to identify capability gaps and development opportunities
Anticipate emerging learning needs driven by strategy shifts, portfolio evolution, or market dynamics
Partner and Collaborate
Partner with Country Sales Management to shape local learning plans aligned with European commercial priorities
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Product, and Sales Operations
Balance regional requirements with global standards and quality expectations
Improve and Innovate Learning
Monitor learner engagement, adoption, and effectiveness to improve retention and performance outcomes
Contribute to the development and refinement of training content, tools, and delivery approaches
Leverage digital and modern learning methodologies to increase reach, relevance, and impact
Share best practices and insights within the European and Global trainer community
Capabilities & Experience
Strong commercial and business acumen, with the ability to link learning initiatives to performance outcomes
Veterinary background or prior experience in the veterinary industry is preferred but not required.
Veterinary Market Understanding: demonstrates a solid understanding of the veterinary market, including clinical workflows, customer needs, decision‑making dynamics, and the commercial environment in which veterinary practices operate.
Experience delivering sales training, coaching, or facilitation in a commercial environment
Ability to manage the full learning cycle: needs analysis, delivery, reinforcement, and evaluation
Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority
Comfortable working in a cross‑cultural, matrixed environment
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Business‑level Spanish and English (Portuguese an advantage)
Demonstrated ability, or strong willingness, to learn and effectively apply AI‑enabled and digital learning technologies to enhance training delivery, increase learner engagement, and drive measurable learning and performance outcomes
Additional Requirements
Home‑based role with extensive computer use
Flexibility to support the business, including occasional extended hours
Up to 40% regional and international travel
Occasional travel outside Iberia to support European learning priorities
