Job Category: SalesOverview: The Sales Trainer will play a critical role in developing, coaching, and equipping our New Homes Sales Consultants with the tools, techniques, and confidence needed to convert traffic into qualified buyers. This position is designed for an energetic, detail-orientated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the nuances of today's new home sales process. As a key member of the sales leadership team, the Sales Trainer focuses on scripting, sales process mastery, and conversion optimization ensuring every interaction from greeting to contract is executed with consistency, clarity, and brand alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Training & Development
- Design, lead, and facilitate new-hire sales training programs focused on effective customer engagement, qualifying, and closing.
- Create and implement standardized sales scripts for community tours, phone calls, follow-up emails, and objection handling.
- Conduct weekly workshops and roleplay sessions to improve performance in lead conversion and customer experience.
- Evaluate sales team performance through observation, recorded calls, and CRM review; provide targeted feedback and coaching.
- Develop ongoing certification programs to ensure continued improvement in sales execution.
Performance Coaching & Conversion Optimization
- Track key performance metrics such as appointment-to-contract rations, traffic-to-sale conversion, and follow-up response times.
- Work alongside community sales consultants to identify opportunities for improvement in sales consistency and presentation.
- Implement measurable strategies to increase conversion rates and reduce lead loss.
- Partner with marketing and operations to ensure consistent messaging and alignment from lead generation through closing.
Process & Documentation
- Maintain up-to-date training manuals, scripts, and onboarding materials.
- Coordinate with HR to ensure seamless new-hire orientation and ongoing training initiatives.
- Monitor compliance with company policies, contract accuracy, and CRM best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven success in coaching or managing sales professionals with measurable results.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and motivational skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and digistal sales tools.
- Strong understanding of the Texas new-home market and buyer psychology.
- Ability to travel for community visits and field training sessions.
- Prior knowledge of the real estate industry is preferred.
