Subaru of Spokane is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Trainee to join our growing team. This entry-level, training-focused role is designed to support our Sales department while developing the skills, product knowledge, and experience needed to advance into a traditional Sales Representative position. If you’re passionate about helping people, eager to learn, and interested in a long-term career in automotive sales, this is an excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door with a trusted and community-oriented dealership.

What You’ll Do

As a Sales Trainee, you will work closely with our Sales Managers and Sales Consultants to support daily operations and customer interactions, including:

  • Assisting customers during the vehicle shopping process

  • Learning Subaru product features, technology, and benefits

  • Supporting Sales Consultants with test drives, paperwork, and follow-ups

  • Maintaining showroom and vehicle presentation standards

  • Participating in sales training, role-playing, and mentorship programs

  • Learning dealership systems, CRM tools, and sales processes

  • Delivering exceptional customer experiences aligned with Subaru’s values

Training & Growth

This role is specifically designed as a developmental pathway into a full Sales Representative position. Successful Sales Trainees will receive:

  • Hands-on coaching from experienced Sales Managers

  • Ongoing product and sales training

  • Clear performance expectations and growth milestones

  • Advancement opportunities based on demonstrated skills, initiative, and results

The hourly pay range for this position is $28-$35. Actual pay offered will be based on skills, qualifications and experience, and physical location. Final compensation will be established through the interview process in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
